May 1, 2023 Update
As we say a final farewell to winter and welcome the warmer weather, we are happy to be able to let everyone know that we have lifted the masking requirements and that we are finally able to accept new clients again. This would not have been possible without the ongoing cooperation of our wonderful clients and staff. Without everyone's diligence throughout the pandemic, we would not have been able to keep our doors open and provide the face to face services that are so very important to us all. We truly appreciate it!
We wish everyone, and their treasured pets, health and happiness for many years to come!
February 28, 2022 Update
Saskatchewan has, once again, lifted the Covid restrictions. However, in order to continue to remain open and keep everyone healthy, we will continue to require clients to wear a mask at all times while in the clinic and to urge those that are not feeling well to stay home. We will continue to have masks available inside the front door in case yours is forgotten.
We would like to thank everyone, once again, for the continued support and cooperation in helping us to remain open in order to provide services to you and your pets. Without your diligence to wear a mask while in the clinic and to reschedule appointments when feeling unwell, we may not have been able to remain open to provide services face to face. We truly appreciate the effort and hope that everyone is able to remain healthy and enjoy a Covid-free year with friends, family, and of course, fur-babies!
July 12, 2021 Update
As Saskatchewan lifts the Covid restrictions, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support and cooperation in helping us to maintain a Covid-free status so we could remain open to support you and your pets, we truly appreciate it! For now however, in order to continue to keep everyone (staff and clients) safe and to continue to be able to provide our best possible care to our patients, we will maintain that all clients still must wear a mask at all times when in the clinic. We are still urging everyone to stay home if they are unwell or have been exposed to Covid. Again, we truly appreciate your understanding and we will continue to provide updates as they become available. We hope everyone is able to stay healthy and enjoy a beautiful summer!!
November 2020 Update
Thank you to all of our clients for your continued support and cooperation as we navigate as best we can through this trying time. As Covid continues to impact everyone's life, we are still trying to do our part to keep our family (staff) and yours (including fur-babies) safe and healthy. We are still urging clients to stay home if you have symptoms or have come in contact with anyone with symptoms, to use the hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the clinic, stand behind the plexiglass when dealing with reception, and PLEASE practice social distancing. We still have our protocols in place but in order to follow the new government recommendations, masks are now required at all times when in the clinic. We urge you to use your own mask but if you have forgotten it, we can provide one for you. (Refusal to wear a mask will result in refusal of service.) We truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we do our best to continue to provide the level of care that your fur-babies deserve.
August 2020 Update
We are back to our regular business hours and have opened our door but in order to follow government recommendations, we have put a few more protocols in place. We are still asking anyone who is not feeling well (COVID related or not) to please reschedule or have someone else come in on your behalf.
-Social Distancing - Because of the size of our reception area, we are only allowing 2 people (6 feet apart) in the area at a time. We are asking that you let us know that you are here for your appointment and, if safe social distancing cannot be observed, please wait outside until we have an exam room available for you. We are only allowing a maximum of 2 adults (wearing masks) per appointment due to the size of our exam rooms.
-Personal Protection - We recommend you wear a mask while in the clinic, use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting, and stand behind (not beside) the partition when dealing with staff at the front counter.
-Prescription and/or Pet Food Pickup - In order to save time and allow social distancing, please call ahead to order prescription refills or pet food. You are still able to prepay or pay at time of pickup. If you are more comfortable, you can call when you arrive at the clinic and we will meet you at the door or at your car with your product and receipt.
We have tried to call and schedule all appointments and surgeries that were on our waiting list but if we missed you, please give us a call.
Thank you for your continued support and co-operation as we continue to do our best to remain open and keep everyone healthy.
May 5, 2020
While the province has started to re-open, we are still following COVID-19 protocols as recommended by the government and our association to keep our clients and staff safe. We urge anyone who may have symptoms, may have come in contact with COVID-19, or whose health is compromised in any way, to please stay home. Instead, have a friend or family member come to the clinic on your behalf.
-MAIN DOOR IS LOCKED. Please call when you arrive for your appointment and to pick up your prepaid food and/or prescription.
-Appointments. Appointments must be scheduled and in order to comply with social distancing, we will only be allowing one person to come in to the clinic with the animal for the appointment and only when a room is available. When you call upon your arrival at the clinic, staff will advise when it is safe to come in and will meet you at the door. *We will not be accepting walk-ins or new clients at this time.
-Prepaid Prescription and/or Food. Please call to order and pay by credit card (please have credit card in hand in order to save time). Call when you arrive at the clinic and we will meet you at the door with your product and receipt. *Quantities are limited on certain prescriptions and food items. We will notify you when you call if the product you require is affected.*
-We are currently closed Saturdays.
Please be patient. Due to the increased time each call takes, we are doing our best to answer everyone as quickly as possible. We thank you in advance for you understanding and co-operation and we appreciate your support of our staff and each other during these uncertain times.
Please watch the website or our Facebook page for updates as they become available.
